Does Base64 encrypt data?
No. Base64 is a text representation of bytes and provides neither a key nor confidentiality.
Will Korean, Japanese, and emoji survive?
The tool encodes UTF-8 bytes with TextEncoder and decodes them with TextDecoder.
How does URL-safe Base64 differ?
URL-safe Base64 uses - and _ instead of + and / and may omit padding. Keep it distinct from standard Base64.
