Frequently asked questions

Can JSON contain comments?

No. Standard JSON does not define comments, so comments and trailing commas produce validation errors.

Are error line and column numbers exact?

The tool extracts a location when the browser parser provides one. Browser message differences mean some errors use a general message.

Is my JSON sent to a server?

No. Conversion runs in your browser and the input is not sent to a DevDesk conversion server.
