Does it show word-level differences?

The initial version shows line-level changes. Inspect the affected lines directly for word-level details.

Are spaces and line endings compared?

Yes. CRLF and LF endings are normalized, while spaces within each line are preserved.

Can pasted HTML execute?

No. Input and output are rendered as text, so pasted tags and scripts are not executed.
